Payam Moradian started his legal career at a large intellectual property law firm in New York, where he focused on patent prosecution and counseling. He relocated to Los Angeles to take over management of the worldwide patent portfolio of a medical device company as its patent counsel. He later became partner of a Los Angeles intellectual property law firm, where he headed the patent and trademark prosecution department. Mr. Moradian has extensive patent litigation experience. In one trial, Mr. Moradian’s cross-examination of the plaintiff’s expert in front of a jury resulted in the jury invalidating several broad claims of the plaintiff’s patent.

Mr. Moradian graduated with honors from New York University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He earned his Juris Doctor in 2001 from Boston University School of Law, with honors.

Mr. Moradian is a member of both the California Bar and the New York Bar, admitted to several United States District Courts, and registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
